We were shocked to get an email from our social worker on Sunday that she received our court approved home study in the mail on Saturday. That means that it took about 2 weeks from the time the home study was filed (10/27) to get it approved.
Either we look great on paper or the judge had nothing better to do. I’m goint with the latter.
Next step is to submit to the Dept. of Homeland Securty an “Application for Determination of Suitablilty to Adopt a Child from a Convention Country”.

That’s super awesome.. whatever the reason for the quick progress it’s fabulous.
I’m guessing when the only thing they can suggest is a fire escape route printed and posted on both floors, you are in stellar position!
