Steve claims that I run at two speeds: hyperactive and off (which only occurs with the use of medication). So I am attempting to use 8:30 in the morning to try and relax but of course my brain can’t tune out all of the things that I believe that I need to accomplish today.
I wanted to give a quick update on my doctor’s appointments from last week. I saw the eye doctor on Tuesday and she also said that everything my prior eye doctor did was she could do but that she was more than happy to continue to monitor me as a patient.
I saw my BMT doctor on Thursday. She also said that my numbers were looking good and normal. She reassured me that the fatigue and neuropathy that I am experiencing is normal for the situation but that I need to realized it could be permanent.
We celebrated my “birthday” and our anniversary this weekend. Steve and I had a nice dinner at Fleming’s and then saw the movie “Salt”. Perhaps the best part of our anniversary was when Steve unloaded the dishwasher. I guess miracles do happen.
Monday I got my first allergy shots. I didn’t have any complications and will continue to get those weekly for the next few months.
Break time is over, off to stress about something that doesn’t need to be stressed about.

Nolan’s Yoga

Thanks for the update, I have been wondering how the Dr.s went. Glad you had a Happy Anniversary, love, Dad
I am in awe of the miracle that happened at your house.
Also am in awe of how much you can accomplish. Take a break once in awhile and smell the roses.
I hate to unload the dishwasher and Bill knows it so every morning at 6 when I hear him unload the dishwasher I remember why I married him!
I spent 3 hours with Nolan and he did not show me any yoga…good to hear things with your health are as normal as they can be. Emily, I do remember Bill unloading the dishwasher all the time, maybe he should have a talk with Steve….
How adorable are the yoga moves?! I wish I could do that.
So glad to hear Mandus’s doctor appointments went well. Also good vibes that the allergy shots will work miracles.
And speaking of miracles… just to give props to Steve (take note, it may be another 30 years before I do this again) but I once called the house when Mandy was in the hospital kicking cancer’s ass and fighting for her life (kinda a big deal) and my brother unloaded the dishwasher as he was talking to me on the phone.
Baumie looks so natural with that silverware holder-thingy in his hand. It’s like he finally found his calling! I’m sure he will start unloading the dishwasher all the time now, since he is getting so good at it.
Bess I think you are right about him unloading the dishwasher but I am sure it was only because he was scared of me!!
