I'll start with Nolan, he wore big boy underwear all day yesterday with no accidents!! I can't tell you how exciting that is. We had told Nolan that we would go to Disneyland for Thanksgiving but only if he was potty trained. So, I will be booking our trip once I finish this update.
As for me, I drove myself to the doctor for the first time. All the retail therapy I had in Tampa really paid off towards my recovery. As for my doctor's appointment, all of my blood work was normal except for my liver functions. The doctor feels that I may have chronic graft v. host disease of the liver but she wasn't ready to say for sure so she mixed up my meds again. Maybe I should have been nicer to my liver in collage.
My other milestone is that I have decided to give up headwear. Although I still feel like Eddie Munster, I am trying to convince myself that I look more like GI Jane. But I figure that people will stare regardless so why bother.
I just got back from my trip to Tampa to visit my sister, niece and brother-in-law. I returned a day later then planned because my flight out of Tampa got cancelled last night due to bad weather in Dallas and I got rebooked on the 6:30am out of Tampa.
I had a wonderful time in Tampa. My niece is a handful but what 2 and a half year old isn't? I did a lot of shopping and eating. Marcy and I ate at the Cheddar's in Largo twice!!
One of the main reasons, that I went to Tampa was to do the Light the Night walk with my sister. We did that on Saturday night and got to walk the bases at the spring training home the the NY Yankees.
It was a great trip but I am glad to be home to my boys. I go to the doctor again on Thursday and will have another update then.

I had the ultrasound of my leg yesterday and the tech said that my leg looked "beautiful". I haven't heard the offical doctors report but it doesn't look like my leg problems are due to blood clots.
Can I stop counting the days? Or will I ever stop? Steve's Dad was kind enough to drive up from Tucson today to take me to the doctor (my parents are still in Florida). My doctor wants me to see a gastrointestionologist because I am still puking on occasion. I see a tube down the throat in my future. On the good news front, I don't have to wear my mask to the hospital any more.
We had a great Halloween. Steve took Nolan around the block and his favorite treat were the suckers. We had lots of trick-or-treators and almost ran out of candy but unlike last year I didn't have to pass our granola bars!

Today is finally day 100 since my transplant. I have taken it easy today with the exception of going to Walgreen's to fill a prescription and Chipotle for lunch. I also carved our pumpkin but going to rest up this afternoon for our trick-or-treators.
I went to the doctor yesterday. She reduced one of my meds because my liver function was testing high. She also ordered an ultrasound of me leg because it has been bothering me. The ultrasound is to rule out blood clots and will take place on Tuesday.
Nolan is going to dress up like Mater from the Car's movie. He wore his costume to school for their fall party. I will post pictures of him sometime this weekend.
